Overview

Prismia is a gender-affirming apparel e-commerce brand that pairs minimal design with a fashion-savvy, urban edge. Inclusive of all queer identities and transitions, it offers a space that feels stylish, relatable, and approachable.

This approach repositions gender-affirming essentials as objects of expression, shaped by the people who wear them. The name Prismia draws from the idea of a prism, a reflection of the spectrum and the fluidity of identity.
Real, unfiltered portrayals of queer, diverse bodies ground the brand, connecting with a younger audience. While bold grotesque typography is layered with graffiti-inspired lettering, bringing in texture, attitude, and a
sense of imperfection.

Process

Prismia was created to bring style and personality into a space that often feels minimal and straightforward. It explores the balance between fashion and discreteness, making gender-affirming apparel feel more expressive while staying authentic and functional.

Shaped for a younger audience, the brand moves with a visual language that feels relevant and unapologetically vibrant. Moodboards and personas guided the process to keep everything aligned with the audience it’s made for.

Shopping With Style

The shopping experience feels like scrolling through modern fashion sites like UNIF, Lazy Oaf, and Dolls Kill; big, visual, and style-forward. It also brings a campy edge, like stepping into Hannah Montana’s closet… best of both worlds, obviously.

Moodboard of skincare products, close-ups of diverse skin textures, natural green leaves, and messaging like 'Skincare has no gender' and 'The ever-changing landscape of your skin'.
